PATARA
This beautiful ancient  of Patara was visited by Saint Paul during his third Miisionary Journey. After Miletos Paul and his friends called at Patara where they changed their ships.  They found a bigger ship with which they could sail on the open seas and take them to Phoenician Coast, to the city of Tyre.

 

 

Acts 21:1,2

Paul and Luke came to Patara during the third missionary trip after the Miletos. It was in Patara they changed boat from a small vessel  to a larger boat which could cope with Mediterranean Sea. 

Edremit

Edremit is only mentioned in the new testament as the hometown  of the boat Paul took from Caeserea to Sidon then to Myra.
